A fascinating aspect of this scenario is that someone who owns one of the NFTs would find it advantageous to keep it as opposed to exchanging it. Anyone who has an NFT always has the option of trading it for a tangible item. But once exchanged, obviously the option is merely to keep or to sell. This should serve to keep the number of tangible items out in private hands limited, therefore they should be of higher value than one would otherwise expect. This in turn should give the NFTs a greater than expected value. This is an interesting dynamic with a scope that shouldn’t be underestimated.
